Asset finance, tailored to your business.
Vehicles, equipment and machinery — we compare lenders so you don’t have to take the dealer’s first offer. Often approved same day.

Which structure suits you
- Chattel mortgage
- You own the asset from day one; the lender takes security over it. The most common structure for businesses using the asset for work.
- Finance lease
- The lender owns the asset and you lease it for a fixed term, with options at the end.
- Consumer car loan
- For personal use rather than business. Regulated under consumer credit law, which means additional disclosure and assessment requirements — and often a different rate to business lending.
- Balloon payment
- Any of these can include a lump sum at the end of the term, lowering monthly repayments. It reduces what you pay each month, but you’ll owe that amount when the term ends — either paid out, refinanced, or covered by selling the asset. Maximum balloon varies by lender and asset age.
Each structure is treated differently for GST and tax. Your accountant should confirm which suits your circumstances — we’ll work with them on it.
Situations we’ve handled
Contractor buying a work vehicle on ABN alone
No financials available and a vehicle needed for a contract starting that week. Asset finance approved on ABN and asset details, settled through a private sale.
Transport operator adding a second truck
A new contract needed a second prime mover within three weeks, and the dealer’s finance quote was the only offer on the table. We compared it against our panel and structured a chattel mortgage with a balloon matched to the contract term.
Family replacing their car, dealer quote on the table
A couple were about to sign the dealership’s finance at the counter. A quick comparison found a lower rate with no ongoing fees, approved before they picked up the car.

How it works
- 1
Tell us the asset and your ABN
A phone call or a screenshot of the vehicle listing is usually enough to start.
- 2
Options, often the same day
Rate, term, balloon and the documents each lender needs.
- 3
You choose and sign
- 4
Approval
- 5
Settlement
Dealer sales often within a day or two; private sales take slightly longer because of the transfer checks.
What we’ll need
- ABN holders
- ABN, GST registration status, and details of the asset. Many lenders don’t require financials for straightforward applications.
- Individuals
- Income details and the asset you’re buying.
Most approvals come back within a day. Settlement can often follow immediately.
Thinking ahead.
We’ll remind you well before a balloon payment falls due, help you plan how to pay it out or refinance it, and be ready when it’s time to upgrade your vehicle or add equipment.
